There’s a feast of dishes to savor at Taqwa’s, which celebrates the fare from climes including Jordan and Palestine in a space decorated with various treasures from the Levantine region.

Stand-out dishes at the casual, family friendly restaurant include signature entrees like dawalee (grape leaves stuffed with seasoned meat and rice), which are served alongside roasted chicken with yogurt cucumber salad; and their mixed grill featuring shish kabob, chicken shish tawook and a kufta kabob served with seasoned rice and choice of salad.

Be sure to try the freshly baked manakish topped with cheese or zeit & za'atar (Palestinian taboun bread topped with thyme, sesame, sumac and olive oil) as well as the mthawwamih (garlic sauce), which is good on just about anything!

Don't leave without ordering something from the list of freshly baked sweets (both the maamoul and warbat are outstanding).

Recommended: manakish; dawalee (grape leaves); daily specials
