"Sippin' & Strummin' with The Chicken Shack," a concert and whiskey release, is set for Saturday, June 1 at Great Lakes Disillery (GLD), 616 W. Virginia St. The event is in conjunction with WMSE 91.7FM's "Chicken Shack" radio show.

This outdoor concert is GLD's third annual collaboration with WMSE and will feature Americana and folk music along with the release of Great Lakes Distillery's special Chicken Shack Straight Rye Whiskey.

Them Coulee Boys will headline the event, with special guests The MilBillies and Luke Callen. Gates open at 5 p.m. and the show starts at 6 p.m.

Tickets for the event are $25 each and the first 500 tickets sold will include a Plucker’s Punch cocktail made with rye whiskey. Tickets are available here and will be available at the door unless the event sells out prior to the night of the show. 

City Lights Brewing Co. and food trucks will be on site offering beer and sustenance.

Great Lakes Distillery has a parking lot, but visitors should consider taking Uber or Lyft for guaranteed safe rides.

Guests must be 21 or older to attend "Sippin' & Strummin' with The Chicken Shack" and the show is rain or shine.
