Raise a glass with the 12 Drinks of Christmas

Hunger Task Force is teaming up with 12 Milwaukee bars to bring you and Milwaukee's hungry a little extra holiday cheer this season.

Starting Wednesday, Nov. 23 and continuing through New Year's Eve, select bars will create signature holiday-themed drinks in support of 12 Drinks of Christmas, a delicious new benefit for the Hunger Task Force.

Bel Air Cantina, Blu, CLEAR, Distil, Flannery's Bar and Restaurant, Hi-Hat Lounge, Smyth, Taylor's, The Belmont Tavern, Trocadero Gastrobar, Von Trier and Whiskey Bar are all mixing up original libations for the festive fundraiser.

Patrons can visit any (or all) of the bars to try each one's unique drink, and visit the Hunger Task Force website to cast their votes for their favorite cocktail.

A portion of the proceeds from 12 Drinks of Christmas sales will help benefit the Hunger Task Force, so drink and vote early and often (and be safe, of course).

Man created fake persona

Over the last five years, a Milwaukee man named Montaous Walton has created at least two different internet personas, inventing a story about an improbable rise out of the city into the world of Major League-affiliated baseball. One of these personas was exposed in 2010. The other managed to not only thrive, but convince legitimate sports agencies to invest in it.

What's authenitc Mexican?
