The Bartolottas are kicking off the summer and their support for Race For A Cure at Northpoint Custard at Bradford Beach this Saturday, May 19, with a new look for the building - pink cow spots. There also will be free burgers for the first 200 people.

Oakland Trat is now SoLo Pizza, but fortunately, many of their recipes remain. And very fortunately, they dropped off three pizzas to the hungry staff of OnMilwaukee.com today. I was pretty happy that the barbecue chicken one tastes exactly the same.

After seven years in business, Piano Blu in Pewaukee closed on Sunday night. The business will reopen on Thursday, May 17 at 11 a.m. as the Lakefront Grille.

It's not all that unusual for a restaurant to pick up and move. North Star American Bistro migrated to a new space across Oakland Avenue in Shorewood a year and a half ago. Two venerable Milwaukee eateries, the Boulevard Inn and Chip & Py's, made cross-town moves before eventually closing. But a 70-mile relocation is definitely out of the ordinary. That is what Chris and Jennifer Giaimo have done with their Bellafini's Trattoria.
