The Pfister names Timothy Westbrook artist-in-residence
The Pfister Hotel's artist-in-residence selection committee has selected New York fiber artist Timothy Westbrook as the hotel's fourth featured artist.
Westbrook, who will replace current artist Shelby Keefe, will work in The Pfister's studio space for one year beginning April 2012.
Now in its fourth year, The Pfister's artist-in-residence program features a working art studio and gallery that is open to hotel guests and visitors. The program encourages the public to interact with the artist and witness the evolution of each piece first-hand.

How does the selection process work? They couldn't find a local artist for this prestigious opportunity?
