In the past few years, more and more wild turkeys have strutted around in urban areas. This week, OnMilwaukee.com asked the Social Circle if and where they've seen turkeys.

Lori Ahrenhoerster: "On Lake Drive, just east of UWM."

Lauren Bast: "21st and Edgerton."

John Cee: "Bradford Beach. I counted 24 of them."

Stephie Conn: "Whitefish Bay."

Nicki Cyrak: "Wauwatosa – I saw eight of them off of Watertown Plank and 117th street. Crazy!"

Stephanie Johnson: "They were in American TV's parking lot today sitting between cars in Waukesha off of 94."

Kelly Kessler Fay: "We had several on the Alverno College campus a couple of weeks ago."

Monica Freitag: "We have one that's been hanging around our office park in Goerke's Corners. He stands right at the main entrance."

Amy Gutowski: "On my street in Riverwest. Crazy."

Pam Hays: "We have a flock of about 15 in our neighborhood in Greenfield."

Juli Kaufman: "Just this week, this Tom flew on my roof! Larkin and Kensington in the magical world of Shorelandia. I talked him down, he didn't jump."

Brittany Kristine: "There was one literally five minutes ago in front of Curtin Hall on the UWM campus."

Jessica Mallinus: "In my parking lot this morning. Neighbor had to call the police, they were afraid to go near their truck. Turkey liked shiny bumper. It was a male. Maybe saw its reflection."

Michelle Rutkowski: "Menomonee Falls has a whole gang of them. They're kind of – nay, really – intimidating. I think they want to destroy me."

David Ruel: "They must not have any natural predators in the area.

Toni Spott: "I have seen them on many Facebook postings and right at the end of my street."

Caroline Stelloh: "I saw some on Root River Parkway the other day. I thought I was hallucinating!"
