Mashable: Milwaukee is No. 8 in Meetup Tech Groups
Mashable is out with its "Top 10 Meetup Fastest Growing Tech Cities" list, and Milwaukee ranks high coming in at No. 8.
A meetup is an online social networking portal that facilitates offline group meetings in various localities. And, Milwaukee is full of them and gaining in its status as a well clustered city full of tech companies. OnMilwaukee.com is proud to be a part of it.

Meetup Social Groups are a lot busier -- There are 58 MU social groups within 25 miles of downtown -- that have events scheduled to rsvp for.

hmmm According to the MU website -- there are only 2 Tech MU groups within 25 miles who have an actual MU event scheduled. http://technology.meetup.com/cities/us/53207/?psize=20&show=results&radius=25.0
