Pianist/Songwriter JL Russell has performed w/ a variety of local bands, playing jazz, R&B, blues, and as keyboardist, background singer, and periodic front man for the reggae group KOJO. Now his intimate act is bringing his Smooth Jazz and R&B "up close and personal" to area venues in support of his upcoming CD release, "Soul Of A Poet".
