Jane Matenaer is returning to morning radio Jan. 25

Jane Matenaer, who has been off Milwaukee radio since WMYX-FM (99.1) dropped her from the morning show last May, returns to the early shift starting Jan. 25 when she joins "CV," to co-host the morning show on WLDB-FM (93.3), which calls itself B93.3.

The veteran of three decades in local radio says in a statement from B93.3: "I've missed talking to the people of southeastern Wisconsin and their stories, opinions, and perspectives."

The stations plays '80s and '90s tunes and focuses on female listeners.

Stan Atkinson had been co-hosting the morning show -- which airs from 5:3o to 10 a.m. weekdays -- will continue with his program director duties, along with some weekend and fill-in on-air duties.

Great to hear Jane is back. I listen to Stan and CV in the morning and am irritated by CV's voice so Jane will make it more tolerable. She's been missed!!

Now we can cross our fingers and hope that Dan Weber makes a comeback to Milwaukee radio. Maybe B93 can hire Dan to pair up with Jane in the morning.

Good to hear. I'll tune in for a try. Always looking for a morning show that the kids can listen to and MYX has been a bit PG13 lately.
