"A Thousand Words"
The Milwaukee Chamber Theatre has historically not been in the business of presenting world premiere productions of new plays. That makes its current offering, "A Thousand Words," special, but the show's distinctiveness is not solely due to being the newest kid on the theatrical block.

Meet Doug MacKenzie
The first time I visited master distiller Doug MacKenzie was at the old Great Lakes Distillery. There weren't bubbling beakers puffing steam, but the large copper still and the stainless steel tanks gave the place a certain laboratory feel. And though he seemed entirely normal, MacKenzie's passion for creating spirits and his openness to try just about anything gave him a certain mad scientist vibe.

Who else should be famous
After I did it a couple of months ago, I had a lot of people who I met on the street, tell me how much they appreciated my "Milwaukee people who should be famous" column. As I am always interested in making people happy (insert laughter here) here comes "They should be famous, Part II." And again, this list is not comprehensive. It's just a few people who should be getting more fame than they've gotten. Some I know, some I don't.
